The Hurricane Preparedness Expo in New Orleans asked me to attend and present my book and expertise. As you can imagine, a hurricane can shake things up pretty good, just like an earthquake. I also talked to people about water damage and mold. There were a number of organizations that are looking to include my www.saveyourstuff.com info to their emergency preparedness plans in their offices and for their employees. These folks bought a book last year and thanked me for the interesting follow up emails.
Testing security windows. Cheerleaders from the NBA team from New Orleans, The Hornets, were there. This girl took a swing at the window.. and she had a GOOD swing!
Demonstration of what downed power lines can do!... a 4 ft. arc of lightning...yikes!
